Role Overview

ExpressLogic Systems is seeking a skilled, proactive, and analytical Express.js Developer to join our remote engineering team. In this full-time role, you will be instrumental in building, scaling, and maintaining high-performance backend services using the Express.js framework. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-performance, scalable backend services using Express.js.
• Design and implement robust RESTful API endpoints for seamless front-end integration.
• Configure and manage Express middleware for authentication, logging, and security.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new features and enhance platform functionality.
• Manage and optimize NoSQL or SQL database schemas to ensure high data performance.
• Debug and resolve backend-specific technical issues through rigorous testing and troubleshooting.
• Participate in peer code reviews to maintain engineering standards and promote best practices.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal development workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
• Research and implement new technologies to enhance system efficiency and security.
• Document system architecture, API specifications, and technical workflows for long-term maintenance.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and deep knowledge of the Express.js framework.
• Solid understanding of asynchronous programming, HTTP/REST protocols, and server-side logic.
• Experience with database management (e.g., MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Mongoose).
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote team.
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset and a passion for creating high-performance web software.
• Freshers with strong academic foundations or internship experience are encouraged to apply; we provide extensive mentorship.
• Reliable high-speed internet connection for consistent, professional virtual collaboration.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Understanding of API security best practices, including JWT authentication and rate limiting.
• Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Supertest).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of TypeScript for type-safe server-side development.
