Role Overview

ScriptLogic Systems is looking for a technically proficient, creative, and detail-oriented JavaScript Developer to join our remote-first engineering team. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain interactive, high-performance web applications using modern JavaScript.
• Translate complex UI/UX designs into modular, reusable, and testable code components.
• Implement and manage efficient state management and data flows for dynamic applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate APIs and enhance application logic.
• Optimize application performance, rendering, and load times for a seamless user experience.
• Debug and resolve complex client-side technical issues through systematic browser testing.
• Participate in peer code reviews to maintain engineering standards and best practices.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal development workflows, libraries, and tooling.
• Research and implement new JavaScript technologies and patterns to enhance functionality.
• Document code, API integrations, and architectural patterns for long-term maintenance.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong proficiency in vanilla JavaScript and modern ES6+ syntax.
• Solid understanding of DOM manipulation, event handling, and asynchronous programming (Promises, async/await).
• Experience with responsive design principles and browser compatibility.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote team.
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset and a passion for creating high-quality software.
• Freshers with strong academic foundations or portfolio projects are encouraged to apply; we provide extensive mentorship.
• Reliable high-speed internet connection for consistent, professional virtual collaboration.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js, or Angular).
• Understanding of web security best practices (XSS, CSRF, CSP).
• Experience with build tools (Webpack, Vite, Rollup) and package managers (npm, yarn).
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, Vitest, Cypress).
• Knowledge of TypeScript for improved code safety and developer experience.
