Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable, modular CSS/SCSS architecture for complex web applications.
• Translate design mockups from Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch into pixel-perfect responsive layouts.
• Implement modern CSS techniques, including Flexbox, Grid, and custom properties (variables).
• Optimize frontend performance, focusing on CSS delivery, minimizing file sizes, and rendering efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional design and backend teams to integrate CSS with dynamic UI components.
• Debug and resolve browser-rendering issues and cross-device inconsistencies.
• Participate in peer code reviews to maintain high-quality CSS standards and consistency.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal frontend design systems and component libraries.
• Research and implement emerging CSS features to push the boundaries of digital visual design.
• Document UI component architecture, style variables, and CSS patterns for seamless team collaboration.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Web Design, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• Strong proficiency in modern CSS (Flexbox, Grid, Animations, Transforms) and semantic HTML.
• Deep understanding of responsive design, accessibility (WCAG), and cross-browser compatibility.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed team.
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset and a passion for creating high-quality, beautiful user interfaces.
• Freshers with strong portfolio projects or internship experience are encouraged to apply; we provide extensive mentorship.
• Reliable high-speed internet connection for consistent, professional virtual collaboration.

Preferred Skills

• Advanced proficiency in CSS preprocessors like SASS/SCSS or LESS.
• Experience with design systems and frameworks like Tailwind CSS or Bootstrap.
• Understanding of JavaScript basics (for dynamic class toggling or basic component logic).
• Experience with CSS build tools (PostCSS, Vite, Webpack).
• Familiarity with visual regression testing and performance profiling tools.
