Role Overview

As a Procurement Executive, you will manage the acquisition of all goods and services necessary for our operations. You will be responsible for sourcing reliable vendors, negotiating favorable terms, managing purchase orders, and ensuring that all materials are delivered on time and within budget. This role is ideal for a professional who loves structured negotiations, communicates effectively with external partners, and wants to build a career in procurement within a dynamic, technology-focused company.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Procurement: Manage the full procurement lifecycle, from identifying business needs to final receipt and payment.
  • Vendor Sourcing: Research and identify new potential vendors to ensure high-quality and competitive pricing for all services and materials.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service-level agreements (SLAs) with both new and existing suppliers.
  • PO Management: Create, issue, and manage purchase orders (POs) in accordance with departmental requirements.
  • Budget Compliance: Monitor procurement spend against departmental budgets, identifying opportunities for cost savings.
  • Delivery Tracking: Coordinate with vendors and logistics teams to track order status and resolve shipping delays.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and secure digital archives of all supplier contracts, purchase orders, and payment records.
  • Performance Monitoring: Evaluate vendor performance based on quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Internal Collaboration: Partner with technical and operational teams to understand their requirements and ensure procurement is aligned with business needs.
  • Process Optimization: Recommend and implement improvements to procurement workflows to increase efficiency.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Commerce, or related fields.
  • Freshers are welcome to apply; previous experience in procurement or vendor management is a strong advantage.
  • High proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Formulas).
  • Strong analytical and numerical aptitude.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding vendor pricing and contracts.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple procurement streams simultaneously.

Preferred Skills

  • Basic knowledge of procurement software (e.g., SAP Ariba, Oracle, Tally).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially regarding vendor negotiations.
  • Understanding of supply chain management and inventory control best practices.
  • Proactive attitude toward problem-solving in a remote setting.
