Role Overview

As an Inventory Executive, you will be the custodian of our inventory data. Your role is vital in ensuring that we have accurate visibility into our assets, helping the company optimize its storage, fulfillment, and procurement processes. You will manage digital tracking systems, perform regular reconciliations, and ensure that all inventory movements are documented with the highest level of accuracy. This role is ideal for a professional who loves organized data, excels at systematic analysis, and wants to build a career in supply chain management within a dynamic, technology-focused company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Real-time Tracking: Monitor and update inventory levels in real-time using our digital management systems.
  • Stock Reconciliation: Conduct periodic stock reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of physical stock vs. system records.
  • Order Fulfillment Tracking: Monitor the inventory status of incoming and outgoing orders to prevent stock-outs or overstocking.
  • Database Integrity: Maintain the inventory database, ensuring all item descriptions, locations, and quantities are correct.
  • Analysis & Reporting: Generate detailed stock analysis and inventory turnover reports for management decision-making.
  • Documentation: Maintain secure and organized digital archives of all inventory movement logs and audit trails.
  • Quality Audit: Assist in quality checks to ensure that items stored meet the required operational specifications.
  • Process Alignment: Ensure all inventory-related activities align with company policies and best practices.
  • Cross-functional Support: Partner with operations, procurement, and warehouse teams to provide accurate inventory data.
  • Efficiency Optimization: Recommend and implement improvements to inventory tracking workflows to minimize errors.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, Commerce, or related fields.
  • Freshers are welcome to apply; previous experience in inventory management or data coordination is a strong advantage.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Conditional Formatting).
  • Strong numerical aptitude and high attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding inventory data and supply chain logistics.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage large datasets accurately.

Preferred Skills

  • Basic knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or ERP tools like SAP, Oracle, or Tally.
  • Strong analytical mindset and ability to communicate findings clearly.
  • Understanding of inventory management principles, such as FIFO, LIFO, and safety stock.
  • Proactive attitude toward identifying and resolving data discrepancies in a remote setting.
