Role Overview

GoCore Systems is seeking a highly skilled, efficient, and performance-minded Go (Golang) Developer to join our remote-first engineering team. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable, high-performance microservices using Go.
• Translate complex business requirements into clean, modular, and efficient Go code.
• Design and implement secure, high-throughput RESTful or gRPC API solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate services and enhance overall system architecture.
• Optimize system performance, focusing on concurrency, resource management, and latency.
• Debug and resolve backend-specific technical issues through rigorous testing and performance profiling.
• Participate in peer code reviews to maintain high engineering standards and best practices.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal development workflows, testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Research and implement new technologies to enhance system security and efficiency.
• Document system architecture, API specifications, and technical workflows for long-term maintenance.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong proficiency in Go (Golang) and a deep understanding of its concurrency model (Goroutines, Channels).
• Solid understanding of backend architecture, modular programming, and distributed systems.
• Experience with database management (SQL, NoSQL) and integration with external services.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed team.
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset and a passion for creating high-performance, maintainable software.
• Freshers with strong academic foundations or internship experience are encouraged to apply; we provide extensive mentorship.
• Reliable high-speed internet connection for consistent, professional virtual collaboration.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with microservices orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Understanding of API security best practices and high-performance communication protocols (gRPC).
• Experience with testing frameworks (testing package, testify).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Knowledge of message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ) and event-driven architecture.
