Role Overview

As a System Administrator at Anikaay Integration, you will be the backbone of our digital operations. You will be responsible for the architecture, administration, and optimization of our server infrastructure, cloud environments, and internal network security. Your goal is to ensure 99.9% uptime, seamless scalability, and robust data protection across all platforms. We are looking for someone who can navigate complex technical landscapes while maintaining a user-centric approach.

Key Responsibilities

You will be entrusted with critical tasks that define our operational success. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Infrastructure Management: Deployment, configuration, and maintenance of Linux and Windows-based server environments.
  • System Monitoring: Utilizing advanced monitoring tools to track system health, identifying bottlenecks, and proactively addressing performance issues.
  • Security & Compliance: Implementing industry-standard security measures, managing firewall policies, and performing regular vulnerability assessments.
  • Automation & Scripting: Streamlining repetitive tasks by developing and maintaining scripts using Bash, PowerShell, or Python to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Disaster Recovery: Planning and executing robust backup/recovery strategies to ensure business continuity in any eventuality.
  • Cloud Administration: Managing and optimizing cloud-native services across AWS, Azure, or GCP platforms.
  • User Support & Access: Managing identity and access management (IAM) policies, active directory services, and troubleshooting hardware-level issues for remote employees.
  • Documentation: Maintaining comprehensive documentation of system architectures, configurations, and incident reports to ensure team knowledge-sharing.
  • Collaborative Projects: Working closely with DevOps and development teams to facilitate CI/CD pipeline integration and environment provisioning.
  • Stay Current: Keeping abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices to continuously improve our stack.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Foundational knowledge of OS internals (Linux/Windows).
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies.
  • Experience with virtualization platforms like VMware or KVM.
  • Excellent communication skills, essential for a remote-first collaborative environment.
  • Ability to manage time effectively with minimal supervision.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).
  • Working knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Industry certifications (e.g., RHCSA, AWS Solutions Architect, CompTIA Server+).
  • Familiarity with database management systems like PostgreSQL or MySQL.
