Role Overview

As a Network Engineer at Anikaay Integration, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of our enterprise networking environment. From architectural design to day-to-day operations and security, you will ensure our global teams remain connected reliably and securely. You will play a crucial role in modernizing our network stack and driving infrastructure automation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Your contribution will involve:

  • Architecture Design: Lead the design and implementation of scalable, high-performance LAN/WAN and cloud network architectures.
  • Routing & Switching: Manage enterprise routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and switching hardware to ensure seamless traffic flow.
  • Security Operations: Configure and maintain next-generation firewalls, VPN tunnels, and IDS/IPS systems to defend against cyber threats.
  • Troubleshooting: Provide advanced-level support for network disruptions, latency issues, and complex packet-level troubleshooting.
  • Infrastructure Automation: Develop Python or Ansible-based automation scripts to streamline provisioning and configuration management.
  • Cloud Networking: Manage and optimize connectivity between on-premises infrastructure and public cloud providers (AWS, Azure).
  • Capacity Planning: Conduct regular network health audits and performance tuning to accommodate scaling requirements.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed architecture diagrams, standard operating procedures, and incident report logs.
  • Vendor Relations: Interface with internet service providers and hardware vendors to resolve service-level issues.
  • Innovation: Continuously research and implement emerging networking technologies to drive efficiency.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related engineering discipline.
  • Strong understanding of the OSI model, TCP/IP, and associated network protocols.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise-grade network hardware (Cisco, Juniper, Arista).
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot network performance issues in complex, multi-site environments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential for a remote collaboration environment.
  • Ability to work independently and manage complex technical projects.

Preferred Skills

  • Certifications such as CCNP/CCIE (Cisco) or JNCIP/JNCIE (Juniper).
  • Strong proficiency in network automation languages (Python, Bash, or Go).
  • Experience with software-defined networking (SDN) and cloud networking platforms.
  • In-depth knowledge of packet analysis tools like Wireshark and TCPDump.
