Role Overview

GenAI Stream is looking for a creative, highly analytical, and technically brilliant Generative AI Engineer to join our remote-first AI development team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for designing, training, and deploying advanced generative models that power our core products. Key Responsibilities

• Design, train, and fine-tune Large Language Models (LLMs) and diffusion-based image generation models.
• Develop and maintain scalable production pipelines for generative model inference.
• Optimize generative model performance, focusing on inference latency, cost, and output quality.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate generative AI features into end-user applications via APIs.
• Develop automated evaluation frameworks to measure output quality, safety, and alignment.
• Debug and resolve complex technical issues in training processes, model instability, and performance bottlenecks.
• Participate in peer code reviews and architectural planning to maintain engineering standards and model quality.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal MLOps workflows, automated training, and deployment frameworks.
• Research and implement new generative AI architectures and alignment techniques to stay at the absolute forefront of the field.
• Document model design, training parameters, technical specifications, and research findings for cross-team dissemination.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
• Strong proficiency in Python and deep knowledge of modern ML frameworks (PyTorch, Transformers, JAX).
• Solid understanding of generative model foundations, including attention mechanisms, latent spaces, and sampling techniques.
• Experience with fine-tuning techniques (LoRA, QLoRA) and prompt engineering.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed team.
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset and a passion for building AI that transforms industries.
• Freshers with strong academic foundations in Generative AI/NLP/Vision or exceptional project portfolios are encouraged to apply; we provide extensive mentorship.
• Reliable high-speed internet connection for consistent, professional virtual collaboration.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AI orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex).
• Knowledge of vector databases (Pinecone, Milvus, Weaviate).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) for AI infrastructure.
• Familiarity with model deployment and optimization (Triton, ONNX, vLLM).
• Experience with big data tools and efficient data processing workflows for large datasets.
