Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Design, train, and fine-tune large-scale language models (LLMs) for diverse language applications.
• Develop and maintain scalable text-processing pipelines, including tokenization, embedding, and semantic search.
• Optimize NLP model performance for production deployment, focusing on latency, throughput, and accuracy.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate NLP features like chatbots, summarization, or sentiment analysis into end-user applications.
• Perform cutting-edge research in NLP, including prompt engineering, instruction tuning, and domain adaptation.
• Debug and resolve technical issues in training pipelines, model output quality, and deployment bottlenecks.
• Participate in peer code reviews and architectural planning to maintain engineering standards and model quality.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal MLOps workflows, automated training, and testing frameworks.
• Research and implement new NLP architectures and techniques to stay at the forefront of generative AI.
• Document model design, technical specifications, and research findings for knowledge dissemination across teams.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
• Strong proficiency in Python and deep knowledge of ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face).
• Solid understanding of deep learning, specifically transformer architectures (e.g., BERT, GPT).
• Experience with text processing libraries (spaCy, NLTK) and vector databases.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed team.
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset and a passion for building AI that transforms how we communicate.
• Freshers with strong academic foundations in NLP or impressive project portfolios are encouraged to apply; we provide extensive mentorship.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with fine-tuning techniques (LoRA, QLoRA) and prompt engineering.
• Knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines and LLM orchestration tools (LangChain, LlamaIndex).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) for AI infrastructure.
• Familiarity with model deployment and optimization (Triton, ONNX, quantization).
• Experience with big data tools for processing large text datasets.
