Role Overview
MageFlow Dynamics is seeking a technical, detail-oriented, and highly skilled Magento (Adobe Commerce) Developer to join our remote-first engineering team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex enterprise-grade e-commerce platforms. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality custom Magento modules and themes.
- Translate complex e-commerce business requirements into site architecture and functional specifications.
- Configure and manage Magento core settings, product catalogs, and administrative workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate UI/UX design and custom backend functionality.
- Optimize site performance, database indexing, and caching to ensure a seamless checkout experience.
- Debug and resolve complex technical issues, including module conflicts and performance bottlenecks.
- Participate in peer code reviews to maintain high engineering and security standards.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal development workflows, staging, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Research and implement new technologies to enhance e-commerce functionality and user conversion.
- Document project architecture, API specifications, and technical workflows for long-term maintenance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related technical field.
- Strong proficiency in PHP and deep knowledge of the Magento (Adobe Commerce) framework.
- Solid understanding of web standards (HTML5, CSS3) and responsive design principles.
- Experience with database management (MySQL) and troubleshooting common Magento configuration issues.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed team.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset and a passion for creating high-quality, high-scale e-commerce solutions.
- Freshers with strong portfolio projects or internship experience are encouraged to apply; we provide extensive mentorship.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection for consistent, professional virtual collaboration.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Composer, Varnish, Redis, and Elasticsearch.
- Knowledge of PWA (Progressive Web Apps) and headless Magento architectures.
- Understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG) and security hardening for Magento sites.
- Experience with build tools and deployment workflows (CI/CD, CLI).
- Familiarity with REST/GraphQL API development and integration within the Magento ecosystem.
