Role Overview

NextLogic Systems is seeking a highly skilled, performance-focused, and creative Next.js Developer to join our remote-first engineering team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for designing and building sophisticated web applications that leverage the power of server-side rendering (SSR) and static site generation (SSG). Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-performance, SEO-friendly web applications using Next.js and React.
• Implement server-side rendering (SSR) and static site generation (SSG) for optimal performance.
• Build and manage reusable, modular component libraries using TypeScript.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate APIs and enhance user engagement.
• Optimize application performance, Core Web Vitals, and load times.
• Debug and resolve complex frontend and rendering issues.
• Participate in peer code reviews to maintain engineering standards.
• Contribute to the improvement of internal frontend development workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
• Research and implement new technologies to enhance user interface capabilities.
• Document project architecture, technical workflows, and component documentation.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and deep knowledge of Next.js and React ecosystems.
• Solid understanding of modern web development patterns (SSR, SSG, Hydration).
• Experience with responsive design and modern CSS (Tailwind, CSS Modules).
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote team.
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset and a passion for high-performance web development.
• Freshers with strong academic foundations or portfolio projects are encouraged to apply.
• Reliable high-speed internet connection for consistent virtual collaboration.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with API routes and serverless functions within Next.js.
• Knowledge of headless CMS integrations (Contentful, Strapi, Sanity).
• Experience with testing frameworks (Playwright, Jest, Cypress).
• Familiarity with deployment platforms (Vercel, Netlify, AWS).
• Understanding of web accessibility and performance monitoring tools (Lighthouse).
