Role Overview

As a Logistics Executive, you will manage the movement of goods and information across our supply chain. You will be responsible for coordinating with transport partners, monitoring shipment timelines, resolving logistical bottlenecks, and ensuring all documentation is accurate. This role is ideal for a professional who loves organized data, excels at coordinating complex delivery networks, and wants to build a career in supply chain management within a fast-paced technology company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Shipment Coordination: Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of shipments, ensuring timely dispatch and arrival.
  • Partner Communication: Act as the primary contact for transport partners and logistics service providers to facilitate smooth operations.
  • Timeline Monitoring: Track shipment progress against planned schedules and proactively identify potential delays.
  • Problem Resolution: Quickly address and resolve logistical issues such as transit delays, damaged goods, or documentation errors.
  • Shipping Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate records of shipping manifests, bills of lading, and custom documents.
  • Cost Management: Monitor freight costs and suggest ways to improve shipping efficiency and reduce expenses.
  • Data Accuracy: Ensure all tracking information and logistics data are accurately entered into our management systems.
  • Performance Reporting: Generate routine logistics reports for management review, highlighting delivery trends.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all transportation activities comply with company policy and legal requirements.
  • Process Improvement: Recommend and implement improvements to logistics workflows to enhance reliability and speed.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related fields.
  • Freshers are welcome to apply; previous experience in logistics coordination or transportation is a strong advantage.
  • High proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Formulas).
  • Strong numerical aptitude and high attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding shipping data and partner pricing.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously.

Preferred Skills

  • Basic knowledge of Transport Management Systems (TMS) or ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Zoho Inventory).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially with external partners.
  • Understanding of logistics operations, route optimization, and delivery best practices.
  • Proactive attitude toward problem-solving in a remote-coordinated setting.
