Role Overview

As a Distribution Executive, you will manage the final stages of our supply chain—ensuring products reach their intended destinations efficiently and on time. You will be responsible for coordinating distribution channels, scheduling shipments, monitoring last-mile performance, and maintaining accurate shipping records. This role is ideal for a professional who loves organized networks, excels at coordinating logistics, and wants to build a career in distribution management within a fast-paced technology company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Channel Coordination: Manage and monitor various product distribution channels to ensure smooth service delivery.
  • Shipment Scheduling: Coordinate the scheduling of product dispatches to optimize delivery timelines and transport usage.
  • Last-Mile Monitoring: Track last-mile delivery performance to ensure customers receive their orders as scheduled.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed and accurate records of all distribution manifests, delivery notes, and tracking information.
  • Performance Analysis: Analyze distribution metrics, such as delivery success rates and lead times, to identify areas for improvement.
  • Partner Communication: Liaise with local distribution partners and transport vendors to ensure operational alignment.
  • Issue Resolution: Proactively address and resolve distribution delays, delivery failures, or order discrepancies.
  • Budget Adherence: Monitor distribution costs and contribute to initiatives aimed at improving cost-efficiency.
  • Reporting: Generate regular distribution performance reports for management review.
  • Process Improvement: Recommend and implement improvements to distribution workflows to enhance overall speed and reliability.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related fields.
  • Freshers are welcome to apply; previous experience in distribution, logistics, or transportation coordination is a strong advantage.
  • High proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Formulas).
  • Strong numerical aptitude and high attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding distribution networks and partner data.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple distribution streams simultaneously.

Preferred Skills

  • Basic knowledge of Distribution Management Systems (DMS) or ERP tools like SAP or Zoho.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate professionally with external partners.
  • Understanding of local delivery networks, route planning, and last-mile logistics.
  • Proactive attitude toward problem-solving in a remote-coordinated setting.
