Role Overview

As our Export Executive, you will be the backbone of our international operations. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the export process, from preparing complex documentation to coordinating with international freight forwarders and ensuring absolute compliance with global trade regulations. This role is ideal for a professional who loves navigating international trade laws, excels at documentation precision, and wants to build a career in export management within a dynamic, tech-driven company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Documentation Management: Prepare and manage accurate export documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and shipping bills.
  • Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with international freight forwarders, shipping lines, and airlines to ensure timely dispatch and delivery of export orders.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all export activities are in full compliance with international trade laws, customs regulations, and internal company policies.
  • Shipping Tracking: Monitor overseas shipments and proactively identify and resolve potential transit delays or customs issues.
  • Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for overseas clients, agents, and local government authorities regarding export inquiries.
  • Customs Liaison: Facilitate the interaction with customs brokers to ensure smooth clearance of goods at ports of exit and entry.
  • Incentive Management: Assist in the application process for export incentives, rebates, and benefits provided by government trade schemes.
  • Cost Optimization: Compare freight rates and suggest shipping methods that improve cost-efficiency without compromising delivery timelines.
  • Database Maintenance: Keep the export management database updated with accurate tracking info, costs, and duty calculations.
  • Performance Reporting: Generate regular reports for management regarding export volumes, delivery status, and compliance performance.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Commerce, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related fields.
  • Freshers are welcome to apply; previous experience in export documentation or international logistics is a strong advantage.
  • High proficiency in MS Excel and strong analytical software skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong moral compass and an uncompromising commitment to compliance and accuracy.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple international shipments simultaneously.

Preferred Skills

  • Deep understanding of Incoterms, Letter of Credit (LC) procedures, and export-import (EXIM) policies.
  • Experience with ERP or Trade Management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally).
  • Ability to work autonomously and maintain high standards of precision in a remote setting.
  • Strong problem-solving capability, particularly in handling international logistical hurdles.
