Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain high-performance, responsive Android applications using Kotlin.
  • Translate complex design mockups into pixel-perfect, maintainable UI components using Jetpack Compose.
  • Implement and manage efficient asynchronous programming using Coroutines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate features and improve product usability.
  • Optimize application performance, rendering, and memory usage for a seamless user experience.
  • Debug and resolve technical issues through rigorous testing and performance profiling.
  • Participate in peer code reviews to maintain engineering standards and best practices.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal development workflows, libraries, and tooling.
  • Research and implement new Android technologies and patterns to enhance system efficiency.
  • Document system architecture, API specifications, and technical workflows for long-term maintenance.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Strong proficiency in Kotlin and a deep understanding of Android SDKs.
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented design, functional programming paradigms, and software fundamentals.
  • Experience with Jetpack libraries and modern Android architecture components.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed team.
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset and a passion for creating high-quality, maintainable software.
  • Freshers with strong academic foundations or internship experience are encouraged to apply; we provide extensive mentorship.
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection for consistent, professional virtual collaboration.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with dependency injection frameworks (Dagger, Hilt, Koin).
  • Understanding of API security best practices and modern networking (Retrofit, OkHttp).
  • Experience with testing frameworks (JUnit, MockK, Espresso).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Knowledge of reactive programming (RxJava/RxKotlin) or multiplatform development (KMP).
