Role Overview

As an Accounts Receivable Executive, you will be the driver of our cash flow. Your primary responsibility is to ensure that all invoices are issued correctly and that payments are collected on time. You will build and maintain strong relationships with our clients to resolve billing queries and minimize outstanding balances. Key Responsibilities

  • Billing Operations: Prepare and issue accurate invoices to clients based on service contracts and project milestones.
  • Payment Tracking: Monitor bank accounts to identify and record incoming payments promptly and accurately.
  • Account Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliations of customer accounts to ensure all payments are applied correctly.
  • Collections: Proactively follow up with clients regarding outstanding invoices and negotiate payment plans where necessary.
  • Query Resolution: Act as the primary point of contact for clients to resolve billing discrepancies, disputes, or invoicing inquiries.
  • Aging Reports: Prepare weekly and monthly Accounts Receivable aging reports for management to track collection performance.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all billing and collections activities comply with company policies and tax regulations.
  • Documentation: Maintain an organized and secure digital archive of all customer invoices, contracts, and payment correspondence.
  • Cash Flow Analysis: Provide data-backed insights on collection trends to support cash flow forecasting.
  • Process Improvement: Recommend and implement improvements to billing and collection workflows to enhance efficiency.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related fields.
  • Freshers are welcome to apply; previous experience in Accounts Receivable or general accounting is a strong advantage.
  • High proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Formulas).
  • Strong numerical aptitude and high attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive financial and customer information.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to meet strict collection targets.

Preferred Skills

  • Basic knowledge of accounting software like Tally, SAP, or QuickBooks.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate professionally with clients.
  • Understanding of Indian financial statutory requirements and taxation (GST).
  • Proactive attitude toward problem-solving in a remote setting.
