Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Node.js Developer to join our growing engineering team. This is a full-time remote opportunity open to candidates across India. Whether you are an experienced backend developer or a fresher with a strong understanding of Node.js and modern JavaScript, we encourage you to apply.

As a Node.js Developer, you will be responsible for developing secure, scalable, and high-performance backend applications, APIs, and server-side services. You will collaborate with frontend developers, UI/UX designers, QA engineers, DevOps engineers, and product teams to build reliable backend systems that power modern web applications. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on real-world projects while enhancing your expertise in backend architecture, API development, and cloud-ready applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js.
• Design, develop, and optimize RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Build secure, maintainable, and reusable server-side applications.
• Integrate databases, third-party APIs, payment gateways, and external services.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve backend issues efficiently.
• Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices using JWT, OAuth, and related technologies.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and project managers throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and Agile development processes.
• Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
• Stay updated with the latest Node.js ecosystem, backend frameworks, and emerging technologies.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of Node.js and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience with Express.js or similar Node.js frameworks.
• Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and API integration.
• Basic knowledge of MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other relational and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with Git and GitHub for version control.
• Understanding of authentication methods such as JWT, OAuth, and session management.
• Basic knowledge of asynchronous programming, event-driven architecture, and API security.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote work environment.
