Role Overview

TestPrecision Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented, intuitive, and inquisitive Manual QA Tester to join our remote-first quality assurance team. In this full-time role, you will be the final line of defense for our software products, ensuring that every user interaction is smooth, functional, and bug-free. You will perform exploratory and structured manual testing to uncover issues that automated tests might miss. Key Responsibilities

• Perform exploratory, functional, and usability testing across web and mobile platforms.
• Execute structured test cases according to documented requirements and sprint goals.
• Identify, record, and track software defects thoroughly using Jira or similar issue-tracking platforms.
• Validate user experience (UX) workflows to ensure intuitive navigation and feature accessibility.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to provide actionable feedback on software quality.
• Participate in sprint planning and daily standups to align on quality objectives and test priorities.
• Perform regression testing to ensure critical features remain functional after software updates.
• Document testing progress, discovered defects, and verification results in clear, concise reports.
• Provide validation for bug fixes to ensure issues have been successfully resolved by engineering.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing documentation and quality-checking procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related technical field.
• Strong understanding of software testing lifecycles, methodologies, and quality assurance principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to document bugs effectively.
• High attention to detail and an intuitive approach to identifying functional and UI issues.
• Proven ability to follow structured testing workflows and adapt to changing requirements.
• Proactive, persistent, and highly organized work style in a remote environment.
• Freshers with strong analytical backgrounds, relevant course projects, or a keen interest in software QA are encouraged to apply; we provide extensive mentorship.
• Reliable high-speed internet connection for consistent, professional virtual collaboration.

Preferred Skills

• Experience using issue tracking tools such as Jira, Trello, or Asana.
• Basic understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, Browser Developer Tools).
• Familiarity with cross-browser and cross-device testing.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum processes.
• Ability to translate user stories into clear testing scenarios.
