Role Overview

ComplianceGuard Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented, strategic, and communication-focused Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Analyst to join our remote-first security team. In this full-time role, you will be the key driver in maintaining our organizational security posture, ensuring that we meet all industry regulatory requirements, and proactively managing our security risks. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct periodic risk assessments across organizational IT systems and business processes.
• Map security controls to relevant regulatory frameworks (e.g., SOC2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, GDPR).
• Manage the collection and organization of evidence for internal and external audits.
• Update and maintain comprehensive security policy, procedure, and standard documentation.
• Coordinate compliance certification programs to ensure organizational alignment with global standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and document security gaps or non-compliance issues.
• Track remediation efforts and monitor progress on security risk mitigation plans.
• Provide regular compliance reporting to executive leadership regarding our overall risk posture.
• Stay updated on emerging regulatory requirements and their potential impacts on organizational operations.
• Assist in developing internal training materials to promote a culture of security and compliance.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of security governance frameworks, risk management methodologies, and compliance standards.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical risks to a business audience.
• High attention to detail, especially regarding documentation, evidence collection, and auditing requirements.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple compliance tracks simultaneously.
• Proactive approach to problem-solving and an organized work style.
• Freshers with strong analytical backgrounds, relevant internships, or research projects in security governance are encouraged to apply; we provide extensive mentorship.
• Reliable high-speed internet connection for consistent, professional virtual collaboration.

Preferred Skills

• Professional certifications such as CRISC, CISA, or CompTIA Security+.
• Experience with GRC platforms or automated compliance management software.
• Understanding of cloud security and its impact on traditional GRC frameworks.
• Prior experience with internal or external audit processes.
• Strong proficiency in documentation tools (e.g., Microsoft Office 365, Google Workspace, Confluence).
