Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust, scalable applications using Kotlin.
• Translate complex business requirements into clean, idiomatic, and maintainable Kotlin code.
• Implement and manage efficient asynchronous programming using Coroutines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate features and improve product usability.
• Optimize application performance, rendering, and memory usage for a seamless user experience.
• Debug and resolve technical issues through rigorous testing and performance profiling.
• Participate in peer code reviews to maintain engineering standards and best practices.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal development workflows, libraries, and tooling.
• Research and implement new Kotlin technologies and patterns to enhance system efficiency.
• Document system architecture, API specifications, and technical workflows for long-term maintenance.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and a deep understanding of its language features.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented design, functional programming paradigms, and software fundamentals.
• Experience with mobile development (Android) or JVM backend development.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed team.
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset and a passion for creating high-quality, maintainable software.
• Freshers with strong academic foundations or internship experience are encouraged to apply; we provide extensive mentorship.
• Reliable high-speed internet connection for consistent, professional virtual collaboration.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with dependency injection frameworks (Dagger, Koin).
• Understanding of API security best practices and modern communication protocols.
• Experience with testing frameworks (JUnit, MockK, Espresso).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Knowledge of reactive programming (RxKotlin) or multiplatform development (KMP).
