Role Overview

Velocity Interface Studios is seeking a highly creative and technical Frontend Developer to join our distributed team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for bringing our product designs to life by building high-quality, responsive user interfaces. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive, dynamic user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Translate complex UI/UX designs into clean, modular, and maintainable code.
• Optimize frontend performance to ensure fast load times and seamless interactions.
• Collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and product teams to implement new features.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and strict adherence to web accessibility (WCAG) standards.
• Debug and resolve frontend-specific technical issues across different devices and platforms.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high quality and contribute to architectural discussions.
• Manage state across complex application components efficiently.
• Research and implement new frontend trends and libraries to improve our development stack.
• Document frontend workflows and technical requirements for future maintenance.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related technical field.
• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience with at least one major frontend framework, such as React, Vue.js, or Angular.
• Understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
• Familiarity with version control systems, specifically Git.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to contribute to a remote, distributed team.
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a passion for web design and user experience.
• Freshers with strong portfolios and a solid foundation in web development are highly encouraged to apply.
• Reliable high-speed internet connection for consistent virtual collaboration.

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency in state management libraries like Redux, Vuex, or Context API.
• Experience with CSS preprocessors like SASS or LESS.
• Familiarity with build tools such as Webpack, Vite, or Parcel.
• Knowledge of TypeScript and its benefits in large-scale applications.
• Understanding of web security best practices and RESTful API consumption.
