Role Overview

As an AWS Engineer at Anikaay Integration, you will be the lead on designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud environments using the Amazon Web Services ecosystem. You will collaborate with development and DevOps teams to ensure that our applications are scalable, secure, and resilient. You will focus on Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automated deployment pipelines, and optimizing cloud performance to meet the dynamic needs of our business.

Key Responsibilities

Your work will be pivotal in maintaining our operational standards. Key responsibilities include:

  • Cloud Architecture: Architect, build, and deploy highly available, scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, etc.).
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Manage and provision AWS infrastructure using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
  • Pipeline Automation: Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions to accelerate release cycles.
  • Cost Optimization: Monitor and analyze AWS cloud spending; implement cost-saving strategies like instance right-sizing and spot instances.
  • Security & Governance: Implement and enforce AWS security best practices, IAM roles, security groups, and encryption (KMS).
  • Performance Tuning: Analyze logs and metrics (CloudWatch, X-Ray) to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
  • Containerization: Manage containerized workloads using Amazon EKS (Kubernetes) or ECS.
  • Disaster Recovery: Design and document robust backup and recovery strategies to ensure business continuity.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with developers to support application deployments and troubleshoot connectivity or deployment issues.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of cloud infrastructure, SOPs, and system configurations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Deep understanding of core AWS services and architectural patterns.
  • Proven proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform/CloudFormation).
  • Experience with container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes).
  • Strong knowledge of Linux systems and networking concepts.
  • Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, or Go).
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, capable of working effectively in a distributed team.

Preferred Skills

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect or equivalent professional certifications.
  • Experience with serverless computing (Lambda, API Gateway).
  • Knowledge of database administration within AWS (RDS, DynamoDB).
  • Understanding of monitoring and observability tools like Grafana, Prometheus, or Datadog.
