Role Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure infrastructure architectures for cloud-native applications.
- Perform in-depth vulnerability analysis and conduct penetration tests to identify potential weaknesses.
- Automate security controls, threat detection, and response workflows using infrastructure-as-code.
- Manage incident response protocols and conduct root cause analysis for security breaches.
- Develop and maintain encryption protocols, identity and access management (IAM) strategies, and secrets management.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate security into the CI/CD pipeline (DevSecOps).
- Stay current on the latest security threats, exploits, and defensive techniques.
- Participate in security audits and provide reporting to stakeholders regarding risk and incident mitigation.
- Assist in the development and enforcement of organizational security policies and compliance standards.
- Document security architecture, threat models, and operational hardening processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or a related technical field.
- Strong proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Bash, or Go).
- Solid understanding of cloud security principles (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Knowledge of networking security (firewalls, VPCs, VPNs) and common protocols.
- Familiarity with secure coding practices and common security vulnerabilities (OWASP).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a methodical approach to infrastructure design.
- A proactive, vigilant mindset and a passion for engineering secure systems.
- Freshers with strong academic foundations in networking, infrastructure, or security projects are encouraged to apply; we provide extensive mentorship.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection for consistent, professional virtual collaboration.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
- Professional security certifications such as CISSP, OSCP, or AWS Security Specialty.
- Knowledge of container security (Kubernetes, Docker security best practices).
- Experience with SIEM and log management platforms.
- Familiarity with cryptography and PKI systems.
