Role Overview

NestCore Systems is seeking a highly analytical, motivated, and technically proficient NestJS Developer to join our remote-first engineering team. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-performance, modular backend services using NestJS.
• Implement robust, type-safe API solutions using TypeScript.
• Design and manage microservices architecture to support high-traffic applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate features and enhance system functionality.
• Manage and optimize database integrations (SQL/NoSQL) and ORM configurations (e.g., TypeORM, Prisma).
• Debug and resolve backend-specific technical issues through rigorous testing and troubleshooting.
• Participate in peer code reviews to maintain engineering standards and promote best practices.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal development workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
• Research and implement new technologies to enhance system efficiency and security.
• Document system architecture, API specifications, and technical workflows for long-term maintenance.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and deep knowledge of the NestJS framework ecosystem.
• Solid understanding of modular architecture, dependency injection, and server-side logic.
• Experience with database management and ORM tools.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote team.
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset and a passion for creating high-performance web software.
• Freshers with strong academic foundations or internship experience are encouraged to apply; we provide extensive mentorship.
• Reliable high-speed internet connection for consistent, professional virtual collaboration.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with microservices and event-driven architecture.
• Understanding of API security best practices, including JWT authentication and rate limiting.
• Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Supertest).
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Knowledge of GraphQL or specialized NestJS patterns.
