Role Overview
InsightFlow Analytics is looking for a detail-oriented, analytical, and communication-focused Data Analyst to join our remote-first operations team. Key Responsibilities
- Execute complex SQL queries to extract data from various business systems.
- Clean, standardize, and validate data to ensure accuracy and consistency for reporting.
- Build and maintain dynamic dashboards in tools like PowerBI, Tableau, or Looker.
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis to uncover hidden trends, anomalies, and business performance metrics.
- Prepare clear, concise reports and presentations for stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, operations) to identify data needs.
- Support the maintenance of key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics.
- Automate recurring reporting workflows to improve team efficiency.
- Debug data discrepancies in reporting and work with engineering to resolve underlying issues.
- Document data definitions, analytical processes, and reporting logic for team-wide use.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Solid proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, or similar).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, data modeling).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset and a passion for data-driven insights.
- Freshers with strong analytical foundations, internship experience, or academic projects are encouraged to apply; we provide extensive mentorship.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection for consistent, professional virtual collaboration.
Preferred Skills
- Basic proficiency in Python or R for data analysis.
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, BigQuery).
- Experience with basic statistical methods for business analysis.
- Knowledge of project management tools (Jira, Asana).
- Previous experience working in a remote or distributed team.
