Role Overview
LogicFlow AI is a pioneer in the application of Large Language Models (LLMs) and generative artificial intelligence. We are seeking a creative, linguistic, and technically minded Prompt Engineer to join our remote-first AI team. In this role, you will be the expert at translating human intent into effective machine-understandable instructions, optimizing model outputs for accuracy, creativity, and safety. Whether you are a seasoned AI specialist or a bright, language-focused fresher eager to enter the field of generative AI, this is your opportunity to shape the interaction between humans and models. You will be instrumental in developing the strategies that unlock the true potential of our generative tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, prototype, and refine complex prompts to elicit optimal performance from various LLMs (GPT, Claude, Llama).
- Optimize model responses for domain-specific applications, ensuring clarity, conciseness, and accuracy.
- Develop and maintain internal prompt engineering frameworks, libraries, and best-practice guides.
- Conduct rigorous A/B testing on prompt variants to evaluate quality, bias, and instruction-following capability.
- Troubleshoot undesirable model behaviors, including hallucinations, formatting errors, and safety violations.
- Collaborate with developers and data scientists to integrate prompt workflows into production-grade applications.
- Analyze large datasets of model interactions to identify trends, pain points, and opportunities for instruction improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Computer Science, Cognitive Science, or related fields.
- Strong proficiency in written English, with an exceptional ability to structure arguments and instructions.
- Solid understanding of how Large Language Models work, including tokens, context windows, and temperature settings.
- Proven creative problem-solving skills, with a passion for exploring the boundaries of AI capabilities.
- Basic familiarity with programming or scripting (Python) to automate prompt testing and workflow integration.
- Demonstrated capacity to work effectively in a fully remote environment, showcasing self-management and team communication.
Preferred Skills
- Advanced experience with diverse prompting techniques (Chain-of-Thought, Few-Shot, ReAct).
- Knowledge of vector databases and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines.
- Experience with API-based interactions and building prompt-based applications.
- Familiarity with ethical considerations in AI and model safety/alignment techniques.
- Prior experience or successful internships involving generative AI, technical writing, or user research.
What We Offer
- Highly competitive annual salary of $184,500.
- 100% remote flexibility with a provided home-office equipment budget.
- Comprehensive health, dental, and disability insurance coverage.
- Significant annual budget for professional development, generative AI workshops, and relevant technical certifications.
- The opportunity to work at the forefront of the generative AI revolution in an inclusive, collaborative team.
- Generous paid time off, public holidays, and a focus on long-term career stability and personal well-being.
