Role Overview

PrecisionTest Dynamics is seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and highly motivated Software Test Engineer to join our remote-first engineering team. You will build and scale test automation frameworks, perform rigorous functional and integration testing, and collaborate closely with developers to uphold our commitment to software quality. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test frameworks to accelerate delivery cycles.
  • Conduct complex system integration and end-to-end testing across diverse software modules.
  • Analyze technical product requirements to create comprehensive test strategies and coverage plans.
  • Manage the end-to-end bug lifecycle, from identification and documentation in issue-trackers to verification and final resolution.
  • Verify that applications meet defined performance, security, and scalability standards.
  • Collaborate with developers to investigate technical root causes of failures.
  • Participate in peer code reviews for test scripts to ensure maintainability and efficiency.
  • Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support automated testing during build processes.
  • Conduct regular regression testing to ensure stability in rapidly changing environments.
  • Document test procedures, results, and technical insights to improve organizational quality standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Strong proficiency in programming (Python, Java, or JavaScript) for test automation.
  • Solid understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and modern testing methodologies.
  • Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, JUnit).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and an eye for identifying edge cases and system vulnerabilities.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a remote, distributed engineering environment.
  • Freshers with strong academic foundations in software testing or project-based experience are encouraged to apply; we provide extensive mentorship.
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection for consistent, professional virtual collaboration.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured).
  • Knowledge of cloud infrastructures (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerization tools (Docker/Kubernetes).
  • Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, K6).
  • Familiarity with SQL for database verification.
  • Prior experience working in Agile/Scrum engineering teams.
