CyberResilience Dynamics is seeking a calm, methodical, and highly analytical Incident Response Analyst to join our remote-first Security Operations Center (SOC). Key Responsibilities

• Conduct digital forensic investigations to identify root causes and impact of security breaches.
• Monitor, triage, and investigate security alerts originating from SIEM, EDR, and network monitoring tools.
• Neutralize active threats, isolate compromised systems, and perform necessary containment actions.
• Document incident timelines, forensic findings, and remediation steps in comprehensive incident reports.
• Participate in periodic disaster recovery planning and security posture hardening drills.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and engineering teams to address security vulnerabilities post-incident.
• Perform threat hunting activities to proactively identify indicators of compromise (IOCs) before they trigger alerts.
• Develop and refine incident response playbooks to optimize future detection and neutralization speed.
• Stay updated on the evolving threat landscape, including new malware strains and attacker methodologies.
• Provide technical guidance and support to stakeholders during major security incidents.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Solid understanding of networking protocols, operating system internals (Windows/Linux), and cybersecurity basics.
• Familiarity with incident response life cycles and digital forensic methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical incident details to non-technical audiences.
• Strong problem-solving mindset with high attention to detail in high-pressure scenarios.
• Proactive approach to self-learning and staying ahead of cyber threats.
• Freshers with strong academic foundations in networking or cyber security projects are encouraged to apply; we provide extensive mentorship.
• Reliable high-speed internet connection for consistent, professional virtual collaboration.

Preferred Skills

• Professional security certifications such as GCIH, ECIH, or CompTIA CySA+.
• Experience with forensic analysis tools (e.g., EnCase, FTK, Volatility).
• Knowledge of cloud security incident response (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Basic scripting skills (Python, PowerShell) for incident automation.
• Familiarity with the MITRE ATT&CK framework and common cyber attack lifecycles.
