Role Overview

BIStream Solutions is seeking a strategic, analytical, and communication-focused Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to join our remote-first operations team. In this full-time role, you will be the bridge between technical data systems and executive decision-making. You will design, develop, and manage BI dashboards and reporting solutions that provide actionable insights to business leaders. Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop intuitive BI dashboards and automated reports using tools like PowerBI, Tableau, or Looker.
• Execute complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze business performance data.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to define KPIs, reporting requirements, and analytical goals.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity in all BI reporting outputs.
• Conduct deep-dive analysis on business processes to identify efficiency gaps and growth opportunities.
• Develop and maintain data modeling logic in conjunction with the data engineering team.
• Automate recurring reporting workflows to improve delivery times and data accessibility.
• Perform data storytelling to present complex analytical findings to non-technical executive leadership.
• Debug reporting discrepancies and resolve data quality issues with cross-functional technical teams.
• Document dashboard architecture, data definitions, and logic for team-wide governance.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Statistics, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and transformation.
• Expertise in at least one major BI visualization platform (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, Looker).
• Solid understanding of data modeling, data warehousing concepts, and star schemas.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and business requirements.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• A proactive, collaborative mindset and a passion for business-driven data analysis.
• Freshers with strong analytical backgrounds, internship experience, or academic capstone projects are encouraged to apply; we provide extensive mentorship.
• Reliable high-speed internet connection for consistent, professional virtual collaboration.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
• Basic proficiency in Python for data preparation or automation.
• Knowledge of business domain-specific metrics (SaaS metrics, marketing ROI, financial modeling).
• Experience with version control (Git) and BI governance best practices.
• Ability to work in an agile, fast-paced environment.
