- Optimize firmware for power consumption, memory footprint, and real-time responsiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional electrical and mechanical teams to integrate software with hardware designs.
- Configure and maintain Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) or bare-metal implementations.
- Debug and resolve complex hardware-software integration issues using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and debuggers.
- Participate in peer code reviews to maintain engineering standards, code safety, and hardware reliability.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal build systems, testing frameworks, and simulation tools.
- Research and implement new microcontroller architectures and low-level communication protocols.
- Document system design, register definitions, API specifications, and technical workflows for long-term maintenance.
Required Qualifications

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote team setting.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset and a passion for working at the intersection of hardware and software.
- Freshers with strong academic foundations in embedded systems or internship experience are encouraged to apply; we provide extensive mentorship.
- Access to basic hardware development tools for home-based prototyping.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with RTOS (FreeRTOS, Zephyr, ThreadX).
- Knowledge of schematic reading and PCB layout fundamentals.
- Experience with hardware abstraction layers and middleware development.
- Familiarity with low-power design techniques and battery-operated device optimization.
- Experience with automated hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing.
