Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-performance, scalable backend services using Python and Django.
• Design and manage complex database schemas using Django ORM and SQL.
• Implement robust, secure RESTful API solutions (Django REST Framework).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new features and enhance system functionality.
• Optimize application performance, database queries, and server-side logic.
• Debug and resolve backend-specific technical issues through rigorous testing and troubleshooting.
• Participate in peer code reviews to maintain engineering standards and promote best practices.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal development workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
• Research and implement new technologies to enhance system efficiency and security.
• Document system architecture, API specifications, and technical workflows for long-term maintenance.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong proficiency in Python and deep knowledge of the Django framework ecosystem.
• Solid understanding of modular architecture, object-oriented programming, and server-side logic.
• Experience with database management (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ORM tools.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote team.
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset and a passion for creating high-performance web software.
• Freshers with strong academic foundations or internship experience are encouraged to apply; we provide extensive mentorship.
• Reliable high-speed internet connection for consistent, professional virtual collaboration.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Django REST Framework (DRF) and Celery for background tasks.
• Understanding of API security best practices, including JWT authentication and rate limiting.
• Experience with testing frameworks (pytest, unittest).
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Knowledge of GraphQL or specialized Django patterns.
