Role Overview

As a Finance Executive, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our financial records. You will handle a variety of daily financial activities, including bookkeeping, account reconciliation, and assisting in the month-end closing process. You will support the broader finance team in ensuring regulatory compliance and providing accurate data for financial reporting. Key Responsibilities

  • Daily Financial Operations: Manage daily accounting tasks, including processing invoices, expense tracking, and journal entries.
  • Account Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, and vendor statements to ensure zero-error accounting.
  • Month-End Closing: Support the month-end and year-end closing processes by ensuring all ledger data is complete and accurate.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare routine financial reports, including P&L summaries and cash flow statements, for management review.
  • Compliance & Tax: Assist in ensuring compliance with local tax regulations, including GST filings and TDS deductions.
  • Vendor Management: Coordinate with vendors regarding invoice processing, payments, and account inquiries.
  • Internal Audits: Support internal and external audit processes by organizing financial documentation and responding to audit requests.
  • Budget Support: Assist the finance manager in monitoring departmental budgets and tracking variance.
  • Data Maintenance: Maintain accurate financial databases and digital archives of all accounting records.
  • Process Improvement: Recommend and implement improvements to financial workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce manual tasks.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related fields.
  • Freshers are welcome to apply; previous experience in bookkeeping or accounting is a strong advantage.
  • High proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Formulas).
  • Strong numerical aptitude and high attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive financial information.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to meet strict deadlines.

Preferred Skills

  • Basic knowledge of accounting software like Tally, SAP, or QuickBooks.
  • Understanding of Indian financial statutory requirements and taxation.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with internal stakeholders.
  • Proactive attitude toward problem-solving in a remote setting.
