Record to Report Accountant

Job Description

Sulzer is hiring a Record to Report Accountant for its Centre of Excellence in Pune, serving multiple countries from one RTR team. The role covers data entry, reconciliations, journal work and support to financial reporting, in a job profile the company describes as intended for early-career professionals. Key Responsibilities

• Support accounting operations including data entry, reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Prepare and review general ledger entries for the countries assigned to the RTR team.
• Complete account reconciliations and clear open items.
• Support statutory and group reporting deadlines.
• Escalate and verify complex problems with a more senior team member.
• Keep accounting records accurate and compliant with accounting standards.

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years of accounting experience with a strong general ledger focus.
• MS Office and Excel skills.
• Proficiency in English and comfort with an early morning shift.
