Job Description

Very Much Indian, a Pune saree and handloom brand, is hiring a Junior Accountant on-site at 25,000 rupees a month. The role records daily sales, purchase, expense and journal entries, reconciles payment gateway and courier payouts against bank statements, processes weaver and vendor payments, prepares GST working data and TDS entries and follows up wholesale receivables. It is a full Tally-and-GST books role with 1-3 years of experience asked.

Key Responsibilities

• Record daily sales, purchase, expense and journal entries in accounting software.
• Reconcile payment gateway, COD courier payouts and bank statements against orders.
• Process weaver, vendor and supplier payments and keep ledgers and payables current.
• Prepare GST working data, TDS entries and e-way bills or e-invoices.
• Track wholesale receivables and follow up outstanding payments.
• Support the monthly MIS with order-level revenue, cost and margin.

Required Qualifications

• 1-3 years of accounting experience.
• Working knowledge of GST and TDS.
• Hands-on accounting software experience, ideally Tally.
• Attention to detail on reconciliation against bank and gateway statements.
