Finance Executive

Job Description

The Ritz-Carlton in Pune, Yerwada is hiring a Finance Executive on the property finance team. The role checks postings and documents for accuracy, classifies and codes financial data, maintains journals and ledgers, prepares and reconciles bills and account statements and completes period-end closing procedures. It is a general-ledger entry point that suits an accountant with GL and reconciliation experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Check figures, postings and documents for accuracy.
• Classify, code and summarise financial data using journals and ledgers.
• Prepare, maintain and distribute accounting, audit and payroll reports.
• Prepare, review, reconcile and issue bills, invoices and account statements.
• Complete period-end closing procedures and reports.
• Organise and maintain financial records and files.

Required Qualifications

• Accounting or finance background, ideally with a commerce degree.
• Comfort with journals, ledgers and period-end closing.
• Attention to detail on postings and reconciliations.
• Hotel or hospitality finance exposure is helpful but not required.
