Accounts Payable Administrator

Job Description

GKN Aerospace, which supplies over 90% of the world's aircraft and engine manufacturers, is hiring an Accounts Payable Administrator in Pune reporting to the AP Manager. The role runs the AP process end to end: supplier master data, invoice input and approval, budget holder and supplier queries, payment runs, supplier statement reconciliations and intercompany reconciliation, against company policy and SLAs. The posting is classed as entry level and asks for at least 2 years in a shared services environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage supplier master data for the AP process.
• Input and process invoices and manage invoice approvals.
• Resolve budget holder and supplier queries against agreed SLAs.
• Run payment runs and process adjustments.
• Reconcile supplier statements and intercompany balances.
• Work with internal and external teams to resolve discrepancies, maintain data accuracy and support process improvements.

Required Qualifications

• At least 2 years of accounts payable experience in a shared services environment.
• Sound understanding of the end-to-end AP process, from supplier setup to payment.
• Attention to detail and comfort working to SLAs.
• Comfort with ERP systems and reconciliation work.
