Senior JavaScript Developer - React

Job Description

Stadium is a group gifting and recognition platform that builds modern web experiences to make gifting easy and enjoyable. The team is remote-first. As a Senior Frontend Developer (React.js / Next.js) you will architect and build robust, scalable web applications, own significant features end to end from technical design through rollout, and set the standards other engineers build against. This role is open to candidates based in India.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and build scalable web applications using React.js and Next.js.
• Own significant features end to end, from technical design through rollout.
• Drive frontend performance: server-side rendering, static generation, bundle size, Core Web Vitals and caching strategy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and ship features that improve user engagement.
• Raise the quality bar through code reviews, refactoring, testing practices and pragmatic technical debt reduction.
• Mentor mid-level and junior engineers and grow the team's frontend capability.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional frontend experience.
• Deep expertise in React.js and Next.js, with TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Strong HTML and CSS fundamentals.
• Experience with state management such as Redux, and build tooling such as Webpack and Babel.
• Experience with server-side rendering, static generation, bundle size and Core Web Vitals performance work.
• Prior experience mentoring engineers and raising code quality through review and testing practices.
