Senior Frontend Engineer (React)

Job Description

AssetIntel builds asset management software for the transportation infrastructure industry. Its clients include state transportation agencies, city governments, toll authorities, transit agencies, the Federal Highway Administration and civil engineering firms. You will work on one or more React-based applications inside a fast-paced, agile startup building a portfolio of SaaS products. Every developer owns their code: you will design and develop user experiences in React, collaborate with other engineers to keep the codebase scalable, maintainable and readable, balance technical debt management against business requirements, and break complex problems into smaller modular solutions. Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop excellent user experiences using React.
• Collaborate with other engineers to keep the codebase scalable, maintainable and easy to read.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 4+ years of professional experience as a Front-End, UI or Full-Stack Engineer. Applications with less than 4 years will not be considered.
• Strong expertise in data structures and algorithms (highly important).
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• 3+ years of professional experience developing applications with React.
