Junior Software Engineer (React) - Work From Home

Busibud builds an AI-enabled, fully automated customer service suite and is hiring a junior software engineer to work on the JavaScript side of that product from home. The employer frames it as an entry-level start: a strong ground in vanilla JavaScript matters more than prior professional experience, and candidates are encouraged to show personal projects or open-source contributions on GitHub. The role covers the product from conception through deployment, with documentation treated as part of the work rather than an afterthought. Applicants must be based in India.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain product features in JavaScript and React across the development cycle, from conception to deployment.
• Work with React against data held in MySQL and Apache Solr.
• Contribute to documentation of the codebase.
• Work in a team where learning is continuous and ideas are expected to be raised.
• Apply and extend foundational JavaScript practice in day-to-day implementation.

Required Qualifications

• Entry-level professional with a keen interest in React development.
• Strong foundational knowledge of vanilla JavaScript.
• Currently open to Indian applicants only.
• Bachelor's degree; the employer lists a broad set of accepted streams (B.Tech/B.E, B.Sc, BCA, B.Com, BBA, B.A and others).
• Previous professional experience is not required.
