AI & React.js Developer

Job Description

Luxoft, a DXC Technology company, is hiring a mid-level software developer with strong React JS experience and practical knowledge of AI-powered development tools, particularly GitHub Copilot. You will design, develop and maintain modern web applications while using AI-assisted coding practices to improve productivity, code quality and delivery speed. Experience with Java and backend development is a strong advantage. The role sits in the Front-end React specialisation under Cross Industry Solutions and is remote within India (requisition VR-124657).

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain responsive web applications using React JS.
• Build reusable, scalable and maintainable front-end components.
• Use GitHub Copilot and other AI-assisted tools to accelerate development and improve code quality.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, UX/UI Designers and other developers through the full lifecycle.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions and solution design sessions.
• Integrate front-end applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Contribute to CI/CD processes and agile ceremonies.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 to 5 years of professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience developing applications using React JS.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and with Git/GitHub.
• Strong proficiency in React JS, JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5 and CSS3.
• Experience with React Hooks, state management (Redux, Context API or similar), REST API integration, and unit testing with Jest / React Testing Library.
• Experience with GitHub Copilot and AI-assisted software development practices.
